native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jimmie began performing with local musicians and recording artists on Bourbon
Street in the 50's. Following classical studies at the Houston Conservatory of Music he toured from California to Florida
with "Show Bands" and appeared in concert at The Hollywood Palladium with the rock band 'Bluesberry Jam'. After 'held

His third CD , "Gumbo From The Mountains" was recorded at Flat Five Recording Studio in Salem Virginia, Word of Mouth Studio
in New Orleans and Jimmie's home studio. Original compositions are featured along with a variety of very creative musicians
from Virginia and New Orleans.
